As the auspicious month of Karthika Masam dawns, the air is suffused with an aura of devotion and spiritual fervor. For devotees of Lord Shiva, this sacred period holds immense significance, offering an opportunity to embark on a pilgrimage to revered Saiva Kshetras, the sacred abodes of Shiva, scattered across the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Telangana RTC, the state-owned transport corporation, has taken a commendable initiative to facilitate this spiritual journey by introducing special bus services to these revered shrines. These buses will operate from Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, to a constellation of Saiva Kshetras, each steeped in rich history and radiating an unparalleled spiritual ambiance.
The buses will operate from Hyderabad to Pamcharamalu Amaravati, Bhimavaram, Palakollu, Draksharamam, and Samarlakota in Andhra Pradesh, and Vemulawada, Ramappa temple, Thousand Pillared Temple, Palakurthy, and other Deccan Panchashaiva kshetras in Telangana.
Andhra Pradesh
Bus services to Pancharama Kshetras Amaravati, Bhimavaram, Palakollu, Draksharamam, and Samarlakota.
Buses will leave Hyderabad at 5 pm every Sunday and the day before the full moon.
Buses will return to Hyderabad on Tuesday afternoon.
Ticket prices:
Rajdhani bus: Rs. 4,000
Super luxury bus: Rs. 3,200
Additional fee for darshan and accommodation: Rs. 550.
Telangana
Bus services to Vemulawada, Ramappa, Thousand Pillared Temple, Palakurthy, and other Deccan Panchashaiva kshetras.
Buses will leave Hyderabad at 2 pm every Sunday and on the eve of Kartik Purnima.
Buses will return to Hyderabad on Monday night.

Rajdhani bus: Rs. 2,400
Super luxury bus: Rs. 1,900
Express bus: 1500
Darshan tickets are additional.
