The Uttarakhand Government has recently released new guidelines for the upcoming Char Dham Yatra pilgrimage tour scheduled to start on April 22nd, 2023. To ensure the safety of all domestic and international pilgrims, all travelers participating in the Char Dham Yatra are now required to register themselves online before proceeding.
To complete the registration process for the Char Dham Yatra, follow the step-by-step guide below:
Step 1: Visit the website https://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in.
Step 2: Create a new account by logging in or registering as an individual or family.
Step 3: Provide accurate information, including your full name, mobile number, and create a secure password.
Step 4: After signing in, you will be directed to a dashboard with your name displayed on the left.
Step 5: To access the “Plan Your Trip” page, click on “Create/Manage Tour Information.” From there, you can manage your tour.
Step 6: Click on “Add New Tour.”
Step 7: Fill in all necessary information, including the type of tour, destination, number of travellers, date, etc.
Step 8: Save your entries.
Step 9: Your tour will be created.
Step 10: Add a pilgrim to the tour, and you will see the “Registration of Tourist” form. The destination will be automatically displayed, and users must provide details of their Uttarakhand trip.
Step 11: To complete the registration, click “Save & Next” after filling in the necessary details in the “Registration of Tourist” form.
Step 12: After completing the registration, download the Yatra Registration Letter, which will include a unique QR code that must be presented during the Char Dham Yatra. The user will also receive an SMS with a unique ID.
Step 13: After verification, pilgrims will receive a “Yatri Certificate.”
Step 14: Download the Tourist Care Uttarakhand app to receive assistance throughout the journey in Uttarakhand during the Char Dham Yatra.
